Job Description Summary

Quality Lead is responsible for developing and continuously improving the engineering design processes, programs, internal auditing, and related quality initiatives for our engineering group in India. The person on this position will work closely with our engineering quality leadership to implement, globally proven methodologies and improve our processes and work systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

Quality Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following –

• Develop, improve, and implement processes, guidelines, and tools to ensure efficient project execution.

• Train and educate the engineering teams in processes and tools required for project execution.

• Lead the metrics and reporting program to review performance and support the decision-making processes.

• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

• Continuously evaluate and improve QA/QC processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

• Ensure Adherence to document control procedures and standards to facilitate traceability and auditability.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define quality objectives and deliverables.

• Plan and conduct regular reviews and audits to verify compliance with quality processes, standards, and specifications.

•Lead the internal customer feedback program to evaluate performance to ensure continuous improvement.

• Document findings through reviews, inspections, audits, feedback and perform a systematic root cause analysis to identify and implement mistake proofing solutions.

• Regularly review performance metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

• Prepare and present comprehensive QA reports and presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Science or Engineering

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience

• In-depth understanding of quality procedures and relevant legal standards

•Internal auditor skills confirmed with a certificate.

• Knowledge of problem-solving methods (e.g. PSR, 8D, SixSigma or similar)

• Proficient in MS Office

• Good math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods.

• Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)

• Fluent in English language (verbal and written)

Background Check and Drug Testing Information:
