We are looking for an individual who is having validated experience in system (hardware/firmware/software) testing

Candidate should be capable of performing features/system validation, design and execute manual/automation test cases, debug issues and analyze software logs.

Should use system knowledge of products/system under development and collaborate with members in Scrum Framework

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform QA (Quality Assurance)Testing as part of agile software development which includes In-Sprint manual/automation and Regression testing

• Should work well with functional team members in different global locations for addressing technical/customer issues and supervise it for logical closure.

• Preparing lab test setups and hardware equipment for end-to-end feature validation.

• Execution of test plan in the lab environment or with simulators and mimic field scenarios in the lab.

• Should be capable of preparing the test plans as per project requirements and acceptance criteria following the best industry test practices

• Should possess problem solving skills and identify the issues with minimal effort.

• Continuously learn and improve automation skills for firmware and software automation

• Should be capable of reporting testing activities like test updates, test results and test case coverage.

• Able to mentor and coach junior team members

• Confirmed understanding of Scrum framework and active collaboration with global Scrum team members

• Advanced automation experience of 5+ years required with knowledge of Python and/or Java

• Should be able to independently build automation framework from scratch

• Working experience in automation of Mobile App (iOS and Android) and Cloud testing

• Hands-on experience in use of tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins, Selenium, etc.in automation, integration, system, and regression testing

• Experience with both Manual testing and Automation scripts design

• Experience with UI, REST API Testing (manual and automation) and integration of automation tests using Jenkins CI/CD

• Working experience in automation using tools/frameworks like Robot Framework, BDD, TDD

• Understanding of structured cabling and AIM (Automated Infrastructure Management) standards

• Experience in SNMP Testing using different switches/routers with popular MIB Browsers

• Expertise in crafting manual and automation test cases for system level, integration level and feature level testing

• Good knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/UDP/IP/SNMP) and understanding of OSI model

• Good knowledge on Test Management solutions like Zephyr or XRay

• Strong teammate, good listener and out of the box problem solver asking difficult questions for better understanding

• Good understanding of agile software testing engineering processes

• Good knowledge of network debugging tools like Wireshark, etc.

• Good log analysis/debugging skills to isolate issues and perform root cause analysis

• Scrum and other certifications
