Position Summary

The Director Product Development & Delivery is responsible for the

reliable delivery of Huron software based products by establishing,

managing and guiding offshore teams in Bangalore India. Agile

methodologies and continuous delivery techniques are used

throughout the program lifecycle. They are responsible for successful

(on time, in scope, within budget) delivery of programs & projects

representing Huron counterparts based teams in the US. They will continually monitor

and improve the offshore organization, people, infrastructure,

processes, and tools to deliver exceptional products. They will work

closely with onshore Sales, Product Management, Product

Development and Client Experience Teams to ensure successful

delivery. We are dynamic and driven in a fast-paced environment of

multiple deadlines and multiple projects. We are seeking an

Span of Interaction, Influence and Control:

? Be a key Leadership Team member overseeing an Organization of 150+ team

members

? Active participation in the Technology Collaborative and Steering Committee team

driving the Global One Huron Technology Strategy

? Dotted line responsibility for 15+ new and ongoing development projects with 30US based team members

? Direct Responsibility: Create a grow new Bangalore Technology team from the

ground up which offers new development as well as maintenance and support

services for US based teams. Lead the onboarding of projects moving from onshore

support to this new oggshore Technology Team. Create a capacity, hiring and

financial plan that supports the aforementioned direct responsibilities.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

? Masters Degree and 12+ years of experience in software product development &

DevOps support team management. Must understand how to interact and leverage

product & project management as well as customer support organizations.

? 10 years in engineering, technology industries and 5 years of healthcare industry

experience

? 7 years leading a team of Engineering Leads, DevOperations and Managers

? 7 years in an agile development environment managing new product development

programs and projects.

? 5 years leading product maintenance teams

? Diverse knowledge of multiple technology platforms, languages and 3rd party tools

? Solid Experience and proven abilities of the entire Product Lifecycle from Idea to

Support

? Proven Experience working with US based teams

? Software as a service (SaaS) experience is required

? Experience with proven positive results managing large, complex, and diverse

programs.

? Knowledge of software development, agile development and SDLC methodologies

? Proven ability to effectively communicate and resolve issues with internal and

external stakeholders at all levels

? Proven ability to build strong, trust based relationships with key organizational

stakeholders

? Ability to manage technology portfolio and POC projects

? Ability to understand technology architecture and non-functional requirements

? Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

? Analytical, problem solving skills

? Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills, and interpersonal skills

? Ability to drive change and challenge status quo

? Ability to resolve conflict across program and project teams

? Hands-on, detail orientation

? Travel Requirement 20% (extended trips to US locations will be required)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Software Engineering to lead our engineering team and drive the development of our cutting-edge product/s. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a deep understanding of product management, and a proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

•Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

•Set and communicate clear goals, expectations, and performance standards for the engineering team.

•Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

•Strategic Planning & Execution

•Collaborate with senior leadership to define the product vision and roadmap.

•Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with company goals and objectives.

•Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality software products on time and within budget.

Technical Oversight

•Provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure the adoption of best practices in software development, architecture, and engineering processes.

•Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

•Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of the software architecture.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

•Work closely with product management, design, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.

•Facilitate effective communication between engineering and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met.

Process Improvement

•Implement and optimize agile methodologies and development processes.

•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency within the engineering team.

•Recruitment & Talent Development

•Lead recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent.

•Promote a culture of learning and professional development through training, workshops, and mentorship programs.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

•16+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.

•Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams in a product-focused environment.

Technical Skills

•Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, dot net).

•Deep understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.

•Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, serverless).

Leadership Skills

•Exceptional leadership and people management skills.

•Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
