We are seeking an Analyst 2 forIT Service Management team to join the Technology Operations and Support organization as a member of the ITSM team. This team works across the organization to deliver processes in the area of IT Service Management including various areas of Asset Management, Remedy and CMDB etc.
Critical Primary Responsibilities:
Provide on-call support for off hours and weekends.
Monitor software licenses to ensure they comply with license agreements and usage standards.
Ensure audit compliance for the IT assets.
Monitor service requests and work orders for the group and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
Critical Skills & Experiences:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of information technology experience in a relevant ITSM – Asset Management role having good knowledge on the below:-
ITSM tool – Remedy or ServiceNow
Asset Management softwares – Flexera, FlexNet
SCCM
Software License management.
Sound understanding of CMDB. Config Management Database.
Operations data reporting exposure – reporting on assets, CMDB, Incidents etc.
Experience / Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating system management and administration
Design and execute asset management policies, procedures and processes.
Coordinate with management in utilizing the asset management tools to analyze, review and track asset data.
Strong Hardware Asset management experience. Ability to manage various hardware machine lifecycles from Desktop, Laptops to POS machines and other hardware.
Develop asset control processes to monitor accountability identification, maintenance, location and contracts.
Manage asset reconciliation and asset disposal agreements.
Oversee recruitment, training and performance appraisals for associates.
Educate associates about company policies.
Assist in inventory management, procurement and shipment activities.
Inventory and Lifecycle management of hardware assets and software licenses.
Analyze purchasing effectiveness and resolve purchasing issues.
Oversee contract negotiation, contract renewals and vendor management activities.
Monitor and control expenses within allotted budget.
Monitor software licenses to ensure they comply with license agreements and usage standards.
Collaborate with management to define cost savings, asset compliances and service improvements.
Prepare and manage IT asset capital and expense budgets.
Ensure audit compliance for the IT assets.
Work closely with the local IT support team on the asset allocation, asset tracking, software license management and Auditing of Asset tags and Cis.
Guide IT asset associate in the daily administration of the asset management activities.
