Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • The Project Manager is responsible for Business Excellence aspects of Delivery: Yield, project management, resource management, workload assignments of the team, etc. Project Manager Span of control extends over a group of technical and people managers and by extension their direct reportees as well.

  • This role also has significant impact to Revenue & Contribution Margin. It is expected that the Project Manager have a clear understanding of Revenue & Contribution Margin and how they affects it. The degree to which the Project Manager is directly responsible will be based on the organization's size and requirements. Understand current infrastructure and stack in order to employ best cloud solutions

  • People Management: Resource planning; Internal trainings; KRA, Directional feedback and PIP, Coaching, Interview/Hiring support and Day to day management, IDPs

  • Project Management : Is responsible for following project types: Unit Fixed Price, Firm Fixed Price, Medium complexity, Multiple discipline, Multiple Bill Rates

  • On time delivery, Proposal preparations & Risk Assessments.

  • Project Health monitoring

  • Can own RCAs and Product/Continuous Improvements

  • Attend Quality Audits

  • Communication: Daily touch points with direct reportees as well as frequent touch points with indirect reportees. Regular team meetings to flow down company and immediate organizational communications

  • Culture: Culture champion/ambassador: setting a good example for the rest of the team/organization. Be a focal for Quest Global processes

  • Customer Focus: Brings forward any escalations that need to be brought to customer's attention or requires customer action. Discusses and plans SoWs internally and with customer. Provides change management plans.

  • Technical Leadership: Work with technical managers within program and center to ensure healthy capability development within organization. Create environment where Cascading Talent is encouraged.

  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or MCA or Computer Science with 8 +years of experience in complex project Manager roles

  • Proven working experience as a project Manager in the information technology sector

  • At least three years of related experience required.

  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.

  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Desired Skills:
