Lead Vibration Analyst
Lead Vibration Analyst :
The Lead Vibration Analyst, who can handle Downstream Machinery packages such as – Machinery Vibration analysis which includes generating vibration analysis reports and lead the other technical resources in performing advanced vibration analysis of machinery (Centrifugal / Reciprocating compressors and Steam turbine).
Roles & Responsibilities :
Perform detailed analysis on the identified machinery vibration anomalies with relevant vibration plots, provide timely alerts with insightful recommendations; building consensus with site team on actions.
Work with the rest of the MMA team and relevant support resources to establish consistent monitoring templates in System 1 (including EVO) to enable seamless and efficient vibration monitoring workflows
Generate vibration analysis reports of machineries, including prediction of possible failure modes / reliability threats based on insights gained from analysis of static and dynamic data;
Interpret lube oil & vibration analysis reports
Provide training to colleagues and site teams for enhancement of their technical skills.
Establish a healthy relationship with the Site team leads & Subject matter experts to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
Provide meaningful support to site teams for ad-hoc troubleshooting needs; being readily accessible and flexible for break-in issues
Required Qualifications & Competencies:
Engineering degree (Mechanical / Chemical). 1 st or 2 nd class Honours or a CGPA equivalent
8+ years Vibration Analyst experience of machineries (Oil & Gas Refinery / Petrochemical) with relevant material experience in Operation and Maintenance of machinery.
Proven knowledge in troubleshooting in advanced vibration analysis techniques this should include (but not limited to) Centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, multistage centrifugal pumps, steam turbine and gas turbines in Oil and Gas Refinery / Chemical Industries.
Very good mechanical knowledge base with equipment such as Centrifugal / Reciprocating compressors, Steam turbine, speed increasers and gear reducers
Fluent English written and oral communication skills.
Experience in Vibration analysis tools such as System 1, AMS Suite, SKF Aptitude Analyst etc.
Must be at least a Vibration Analyst Level II (or Level III).
Experience with P&IDs, equipment data sheets, interpreting vendor manuals, PFD’s, Cause & Effects diagrams & operation manuals.
ASNT / ISO certification in Vibration Analysis, Dynamic Balancing.
Working experience in SAP knowledge is preferred.
Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with the other teams.
Experience with Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good to have skills:
Experience with SharePoint for document management.
Expertise in Online monitoring tools and its salient features.
Experience with SeeQ / Excel for machinery surveillance purpose
Experience with System1 Classic or any vibration analysis tool.
Experience with JMP tool.
Meets quality standards in executing tasks and assures that all details of a given task are accomplished
