The Project Engineer support will cooperate with customer Project Engineer leading the execution of projects within Onshore/Offshore/Pipeline/Industrial/LNG segments for trains driven by Gas Turbines. Combining technical leadership and management skills, she/he will collaborate with extended Engineering project team and all other BH business functions supporting the project. The candidate will supervise quality and timeliness of project deliverables oriented to provide reliable scope of supply, will monitor engineering activities establishing a solid connection with customers, Project Management and Supply Chain, including equipment vendors.
Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for gas turbine packages and ancillary skids, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and instrumentation engineers to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
Conduct detailed electrical engineering analyses, including load calculations, short-circuit studies, and coordination studies, to ensure system performance and safety.
Specify and select appropriate electrical components, equipment, and materials based on project requirements and specifications.
Create and review electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using industry-standard software tools.
Assist in developing and executing Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) for electrical systems.
Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and start-up phases, troubleshooting any electrical issues that may arise.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and timely project delivery.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in gas turbine systems and electrical engineering.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
3 years of experience in designing and implementing electrical systems for gas turbine packages and ancillary skids.
Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and analysis tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM).
Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards, such as NEC, IEC, API, and IEEE.
Familiarity with PLC and DCS systems, as well as instrumentation and controls integration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
