Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Solutions Architect to join our team. Parsons Solutions Architects perform a variety of tasks related to the development, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems. Design work may include model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, network structure design, and analog or binary systems engineering. The Solutions Architect coordinates the integration of system processes and methods to ensure effectiveness of total system performance. The ideal candidate will support key system level activities in the deployment of state-of-the-art systems by serving as a professional staff member onsite on the Governments team. You must be organized and effective in communicating plans, requirements, results, and information to customers at a variety of management levels and technical backgrounds. What You'll Be Doing:

This is a designated “key personnel” position responsible for guiding and advising USCC/J9 leadership on the process, and direction, for reviewing, selecting, and implementing solutions to cyber command requirements. Starting with requirements from cyber command; the ideal candidate will work with J9 leadership to capture user stories from stakeholders. These will be used to help find solutions from various National Labs, FFRDCs, UARCs, commercial sources, etc. Once potential solutions are identified, work with leadership to make sure that the proposed solution is viable, feasible, and desirable.

  • Work closely with program offices and other receiving entities to facilitate transfer. This includes working to maintain a queue of solutions that need integration work.

  • Coordination with all entities across the J9 to align work during planning events and sync on gong efforts during program iterations.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • TSSCI w/ Poly

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher)

  • Seven years of experience with a bachelor’s degree; five years with a graduate degree

  • Skills in systems administration, networking, cyber security, and programming are the general areas of focus.

  • The ideal candidate should have a good grasp of systems architecture and how to build and work in large systems and systems of systems.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Soft skills in personnel management, writing, team building, and general communications.

  • Skills in project management and systems implementation.

  • Familiarity with agile development.

Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
