PURPOSE:
The Senior Risk Management Analyst - ERM is responsible for supporting the risk management team in the overall governance and execution of the enterprise risk assessment program designed to ensure appropriate identification, assessment, analysis, treatment, ongoing monitoring and reporting of enterprise level risks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Contribute to the completion of the annual enterprise risk assessment and operational risk assessments through discussions with senior leadership, analysis of data collected and reporting of assessment results. Partner with business owners to understand risk mitigation strategies, identify additional treatment activities as necessary, and align on metrics and data used to monitor risk exposure on an ongoing basis.Track and monitor evolving risks and threats (internal and external) maintained within the centralized repository to provide appropriate level of support to stakeholders to assess and mitigate risk.
Collaborate with internal teams and key subject matter resources across all relevant risk domains to maintain frameworks to meet industry standards and to identify synergies between programs. Contribute to the development of enterprise-wide training and awareness materials that educate associates and leadership on best practices, pervasive operational risk management issues, and risk management tools and processes. Plan, coordinate and execute monthly enterprise risk workgroup and committee meetings to facilitate discussion around risk related topics amongst a broader stakeholder group.
Partner with relevant stakeholder groups to ensure alignment of program methodology and the identification of risks to the organizations strategic goals and objectives.Collaborate with business owners across the enterprise to operationalize risk appetite and risk tolerance frameworks.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports and dashboards to governance committees, senior leadership and the Board of Directors to provide updates on trends in risk exposure of top enterprise risks.
Perform ad hoc projects as necessary to continuously review and improve the overall program to drive maturation.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Position does not have direct reports but is expected to assist in guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. May lead a team of matrixed resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 5 years' experience in a risk management, third party risk management, audit, compliance, security governance or legal services role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess or in the process of obtaining a relevant risk or business certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, CISM).
Background/experience in establishing and implementing enterprise risk management frameworks and/or programs (i.e., COSO, ISO 31000, etc.).
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel throughout the organization.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, strong time management and prioritization skills.
Dependable, highly motivated and a team player.
An analytical mind and a passion/interest in bringing new ideas to increase efficiency of processes.
Willingness to take on new projects and learn new skills.
Ability to extract meaningful information from extensive research and analysis to effectively present facts and findings in a digestible format with a keen eye for attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Range: $73,152 - $145,288
