We are seeking extraordinary Senior Registered Nurses to join our CMR Teamat UM Rehab & Ortho Institute .
In total, we welcome over 3,000 patients every year and offer more than 130 beds on specialized units dedicated to stroke, traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, limb loss, and comprehensive medical rehabilitation.

Senior Registered Nurse Job Summary
This role is designed for the nurse who is a clinical and professional leader at the unit level. He/she advances evidence based practices, leads unit governance initiatives, and mentors others to achieve and grow in the role of the professional nurse. What You Need to Be Successful:
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required upon hire
Must meet all unit specific certification requirements: (PALS, ACLS, NRP)
Maintains all Clinical Nurse II core expectations
Must maintain .50 FTE or greater
Works in a Direct Patient Care Role
No discipline greater than a verbal counseling within the past year
Meets satisfactory level or higher on last two performance appraisals (if applicable)
Ability to learn and use computer systems in order to manage patient information
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
