Johns Hopkins University Research Program Assistant II in Baltimore, Maryland
We are seeking a Research Program Assistant who will support The SOREE (Structural Opportunities to Rebuild Equitable Environments) Study – a project that examines the impact of structural racism on inequitable food environments and health, through the lens of urban planning and policy in community across the country.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Conducting key informant interviews and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
Assisting or leading research reporting and dissemination, including policy briefs, scientific manuscripts, and preparation of presentations for diverse audiences.
Communicating with study team members across multiple sites.
Meeting regularly with the Principal Investigator to review data accuracy an overall study progress.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be able to work independently and as part of team.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Exhibit attention to detail and have an ability to adapt and be flexible to change in a fast-paced research environment.
Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data management software is also necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
Two years related experience.
Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with related graduate research.

Starting Salary Range: $15.50 - $26.00 HRLY ($23.00 HRLY targeted; Commensurate with experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, with occasional weekend hours as needed
