Expected salary range of $91,800 to $102,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Perform activities relating to quantitative analysis/modeling, designing, building, testing, implementing and maintaining solutions, products and processes under the guidance of a Lead Analyst or Manager.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Perform, document and assist in planning work activities relating to projects, sub-projects, or processes. For Projects: analyze requirements, design, build, and test IT software solutions in accordance with IT project management standards. For operations/application maintenance: enhance, maintain or support existing IT products and processes to the defined service level agreement

  • Maintain engagement with business and IT partners.

  • Assist less experienced personnel.

  • Proactively build business/IT knowledge to provide solutions.

  • Utilize best practices to improve products and services. Apply and verify compliance to standards as defined within the Management Model.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate degree in math, engineering, physics statistics, computer science, economics or equivalent and typically 3 years experience in quantitative analytics, financial, or programming functions.

  • Ability to apply various modeling techniques (Monte Carlo, dynamic programming, tree based, etc.) is necessary.

  • Demonstrates solid quantitative analysis capabilities and proven problem solving skills

  • Computer programming skills for model prototyping are expected, for example VBA, C, C++, Matlab or other statistical packages.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior competitive energy or retail industry experience

  • Prior experience applying quantitative analysis tools and techniques to asist market analysis and growth initiatives

  • Prior experience developing software requirements, designing conceptual data models & system architecture, and user interfaces, etc. is a major plus.

  • Database design & data transport skills (SQL, Oracle/Unix, TOAD)
