Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) Director

$75,000-$80,000

This role is critical to our success and exemplifies the wonderful mission driven work we do here every day, providing effective services for children and adults in need of mental health services.

  • Collaborate with the Area Director to manage the day-to-day operations of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program(s) (PRP) and team.

  • Serve in the capacity of Rehabilitation Specialist ensuring the quality of PRP services delivered for children and adults are in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate and provide staff meetings and trainings, provide supervision to direct staff, approve monthly documentation, and participate in the auditing process/quality calls.

  • Manage financial performance and overall budget of program.

  • Foster and maintain relationships with individuals being served, families and guardians; and implement individual satisfaction enhancement plans.

  • Identify expansion opportunities, implement core growth strategy to increase census and maximize utilization.

  • Maintain and foster relationships with external and internal partners and referral sources.

  • Assist with crisis management needs of staff and families.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology or clinically related field required

  • Active licensure and in good standing in the state of Maryland is required. LCSW-C, LCPC, or similar is preferred

  • Minimum two years of direct care experience working with adults, youth and families with a serious emotional disorder

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines

  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships

  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach

  • A commitment to quality and integrity
