Job Title: Porter

Job Description

Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of multiple areas within the facility. Work closely with the Facility Manager to assist with support needed to ensure optimal operation of boilers, pumps, and blowers. Perform miscellaneous grounds work including mowing grassy areas, weeding, snow removal, and salting of walkways. Monitor parking lot and grassy areas for trash and other debris. Provide emergency cleanup for spills utilizing universal precautions to prevent infection and contamination. Be on-call when short-staffed due to vacation or emergency leave of other maintenance or housekeeping staff. Assist with setup and breakdown for special events. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Manager, Facility and VP Facility Operations.

This is a fully on-site position in Baltimore, Maryland.

Work Environment

Work in both indoor and outdoor environments with a variety of lighting and temperature conditions. May be exposed to extreme weather conditions.
