University of Maryland, Baltimore Policy Analyst / Senior Policy Analyst for the Center for Health and Homeland Security in Baltimore, Maryland

Now hiring for positions in emergency preparedness, public health preparedness, cybersecurity policy and planning, COVID-19 recovery support, exercise and training, and other related projects.The Center for Health and Homeland Security (CHHS) at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law is now accepting applications for Policy Analysts or Senior Policy Analysts (full-time non-tenure track academic positions with a payroll title of Research Fellow, Research Assistant, or Research Associate depending on education and experience). CHHS has a commitment to supporting state and local emergency management agencies, health departments, educational institutions, and other government agencies in their emergency preparedness and public health activities. CHHS has been supporting local jurisdictions throughout the region on COVID-19 planning and recovery, in addition to preparing for other natural and man-made disasters. We are now hiring for positions supporting Montgomery and Prince George’s counties, and Baltimore City. Most positions will include a combination of reporting in-person and telework. Candidates may also work with educational institutions, hospitals, and private business on emergency planning, training, and exercise activities. Candidates will be expected to work both independently and within a team to support client needs. _Qualifications:_ * Advanced degree required.
