Demonstrated the knowledge/skills required to care for the patient population on a chemical dependcy treatment unit. Must assume accountability for the process and outcome of care for the patients. At least 1 year of acute CNA experience required. Previous work with this patient population is ideal.

Completed clinical course in Fundamentals of Nursing in an accredited Nursing Program.
Maryland RN certification
CNA certification
AHA Healthcare Provider
Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed; Works in area that may require contact with aggressive and/or combative patients
