Performs Diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies. Provides radiologists with images necessary to obtain diagnostic results so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician. Orients physicians, residents, staff and student technologist in objectives and applications of magnetic resonance imaging and safety.

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift8am-4:30pm8am-4:30pm

Requires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program

ARRT certified with current registration required. CPR certification required within three months of employment.

Working Conditions:

Possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, radiation, magnetic field, and pharmacological agents with likelihood of harm if established health precautions are not followed.Work may require the use of lab coats, uniforms and/or protective clothing including gowns, gloves, masks and eye gear.

Position requires the ability to assist the patient on and off the examination table and also to assist the patient into proper positioning to obtain diagnostic results.

The position will require moving and lifting of supplies and equipment as needed.
