Johns Hopkins University Laboratory Technician in Baltimore, Maryland
The Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Laboratory Technician within the IAM Lab, a multidisciplinary research-to-practice initiative from the Pedersen Brain Science Institute at Johns Hopkins University. The mission is to advance the field of arts, health, and well-being.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Conducting and catalyzing high-impact, interdisciplinary, translational research.
Synthesizing and amplifying existing research and best practices from the clinic to the community.
Developing practical, effective resources and learning tools to support the field.
Providing the institutional home at Hopkins for research/practice at intersections of arts and health.
Assist with general research toward Lab products, deliverables (May include literature reviews, drafting reports, contacting study subjects, conducting interviews, etc.)
Data analysis, including statistical analyses and/or coding for qualitative studies.
Write/edit materials for publishing.
Meeting minutes (take notes during meetings/events).
Upload and organize files, paperwork, etc. on Shared Drive.
Assist with IRB applications and project documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or graduation equivalent with some science coursework.
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate from technical institute or internship experience.
Training Certificate from Technical Institute.
Classified Title: Laboratory Technician
Role/Level/Range: ACRO40/E/02/CB
Starting Salary Range: $15.25 - $23.00 HRLY (Commensurate with experience)
Employee group: Part-time
Schedule: 20 hours per week, M-F
Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
