Baltimore City Community College Intake Specialist in Baltimore, Maryland

Description/Job Summary

The Intake Specialist is responsible for processing new student applications and registrations. This includes completing customer/student scheduling,administering departmental surveys, entering test results and other data for Workforce Development programs.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Responsible for intake and referral of students enrolling in Workforce Development courses.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Conducts quality checks for student registration and enrollment forms.

  • Submits student registration forms to the registration staff.

  • Schedule placement tests to incoming students. Advise students of score and assign them to the appropriate class(es)

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • Good customer service skills

  • Exp in working in Higher Education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 5 years working in Higher Education
