We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Associate focused on Family Law in BALTIMORE, Maryland. This role involves managing a variety of cases in a dynamic legal environment. As the Associate, you will handle multiple responsibilities including client interactions, handling diverse cases, and problem-solving with a business-oriented approach.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse array of family law cases, including those related to marital property issues, custody disputes, divorce, and separation.

• Engage in client interactions, providing exceptional service and legal advice.

• Handle mediation processes, assisting clients in reaching amicable settlements.

• Deal with spousal and child support cases, ensuring fair and just outcomes.

• Assist with commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation when required.

• Utilize excellent written and oral communication skills for effective client communication and case representation.

• Use creative problem-solving abilities to navigate complex legal situations.

• Demonstrate an aptitude for business generation to expand the practice.

• Handle court appearances, representing clients effectively and professionally.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Family Law and Commercial Litigation to provide accurate legal advice.

Requirements • Job Title: Associate

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field

• Proficiency in Family Law

• Experience with Commercial Litigation

• Proven track record of Court Appearances

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Must hold a degree in Law or a related field of study

• Admission to the State Bar, where applicable

• Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills

• Must have excellent research skills and attention to detail

• Proven track record in a client-facing role.
