Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $32-$35

Schedule: Monday-Friday 730am-4pm

What’s a typical day as an Electrical Technician (Panel Builder)? You’ll be:

• Building electrical panels and wiring industrial machinery according to technical drawing packages, electrical schematics, panel layouts, and control software fabrication.

• Collaborating with assemblers and technicians to build engineered-to-order industrial machinery for field acceptance testing.

• Mounting components to panels, wiring according to drawings and verbal communication, and labeling and installing cables to ensure neatly labeled panels and cables.

• Configuring and laying out wire runs between panels and machines, making corrections and additions to drawings, and creating wire number lists.

• Performing I/O check out on machines, turning power on and checking each device wired to the PLC.

• Troubleshooting electrical issues using electronic measuring equipment and schematics.

• Managing electrical inventory and completing job-related paperwork.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have an Associates degree with specialization in industrial electrics or a four (4) years’ electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience.

• Have at least five (5) years of experience in an automated industrial electrical environment.

• Have full knowledge of NEC, working knowledge of NFPA 70, AC, DC, and Servo motor controls.

• Can read, interpret, and follow electrical schematics, troubleshoot, and work with live circuitry.

• Are proficient in using measuring tools, hand, power, and air tools.

• Have manual dexterity, eye/hand coordination, and the ability to bend, stoop, stand, or kneel for long periods of time.
