Description

We are seeking a dedicated Data Entry Clerk to join our team in the local government sector. Your main role will be to provide clerical support, with a focus on data entry tasks, to ensure smooth operations within the team. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate data in the WICSIS system.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of data.

• Provide support to the WIC program by working at various sites as required.

• Maintain strong communication within the team and with external partners to facilitate effective information sharing.

• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and deliverables.

• Adhere to all policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and maintain the integrity of data.

• Utilize strong attention to detail to review and verify data for accuracy.

• Respond to and resolve inquiries related to data entry in a timely and detail oriented manner.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of all data.

• Participate in meetings and trainings as required.

Requirements • Minimum of one year experience in a data entry role

• Proficiency in data entry, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Working knowledge of WICSIS, or similar information systems

• Previous exposure to, or experience in, the health care sector

• Familiarity with local government operations and procedures

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
