Robert Half Commercial Asset Manager in Baltimore, Maryland

Description

Robert Half is looking for a Commercial Asset Manager to join a growing real estate company in MD.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of retail properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, ensuring optimal property performance and tenant satisfaction.

  • Manage tenant relationships, addressing concerns, and facilitating tenant collections to maintain strong occupancy rates.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities, construction projects, and repairs to uphold property standards and meet tenant requirements.

  • Communicate regularly with clients, lenders, and investors, providing updates and ensuring alignment with property goals and financial targets.

  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms and high-quality services.

  • Handle financial aspects, including tenant operating expense reconciliations, budgeting, and preparation of financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial management.

    Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial property/asset management preferred; candidates with relevant transferable skills and industry experience may also be considered.

  • Experience using Yardi is a plus; strong technical skills overall are essential.

  • Proven self-motivation, ambition, and a proactive approach to managing responsibilities and seeking continuous improvement.

  • Team player mentality with a "no job too small" attitude, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
