Loyola University Maryland Club Rugby Head Coach in Baltimore, Maryland
Position Details:
Loyola University Maryland is seeking a part-time Head Rugby Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Club program for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide guidance to Assistant Coaches and Students
Create practice schedule, practice goals and plans, match strategy, conditioning
Film review
Contact for PRC , USA Rugby, NCR , NSCRO
Recruitment of HS players
Men’s Team Facebook and Website content and posts
Program volunteer activities
Monitoring of grades and academic progress
Previous coaching experience is highly desirable.
Must be able to be a positive role model for young adults.
Loyola’s Club Sport teams bridge the gap between intramurals and varsity athletics, allowing students to enjoy extramural competition without the pressures of highly structured varsity sports. Most club teams compete in leagues against other local and regional teams and some teams even compete in national competitions.
