* Job location : 1600 Ludlow Street, Baltimore MD 21230 ( CSX Locust Point Yard / MTA Maryland - MARC Commuter Rail Facility )

Mechanic ( Mechanical Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Technician, Locomotive Mechanic, Train Mechanic ) :

• Inspect, service and make necessary repairs to passenger coaches ( rail cars ) and locomotives

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in engines, air brake equipment, running gear or passenger train locomotive / passenger railcar components

• Fabricate, cut, shape, and perform finish operations using various types of materials

  Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude

• Mechanical maintenance and repair experience, diesel engines / heavy vehicles - trucks, ideally previous jobs like a diesel mechanic / diesel technician / automotive mechanic experience , welding will be a plus ( welder / fabricator ), experience as a machinist nice to have

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
