Genie Technician, Quality Assurance in Baltic, Ohio
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyzes field returns for electrical and mechanical faults generating appropriate reports
- Performs data analysis of product returns for identification of areas of improvement
- Supports disposition of non-conforming material per Material Review Board (MRB)
- Develops tests simulating field conditions for replication of returns - publishes findings for possible corrective actions
- Identifies component level failures of PCBA's
- Assists NPD with timely assessment of new launches
- Aids Returns group with salvage activities
- Undertakes appropriate sampling of RA's for possible adverse trends
- Operates Life Testing rack
Skills/Experience Requirements
- Possesses working knowledge of mechanical parts and their impact on the product operation
- Has basic understanding of electrical components and ability to read schematics
- Aptitude for understanding general field conditions as defined by applications
- Demonstrated ability to particulate in cross functional teams and apply lessons learned
- Must be fluent in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
Education Requirements Associates degree in an applicable technical field preferred.Skills/Experience Requirements
