Kforce Payroll Administrator in Ballwin, Missouri

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Administrator in Ballwin, MO.Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator: * The Payroll Administrator will reconcile and balancing bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payroll * Coordinate and maintain local and state tax codes within Dayforce for legal entities * Research, analyze, and evaluate tax changes for impact to associates * Investigate and research tax authority notices and correspondence * The Payroll Administrator will be researching the taxability of various pay and deduction types * Enter and ensure accuracy of all withholding orders, garnishments, and tax levy's * Provide support for various audit requirements * As a Payroll Administrator, you will research and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with associates and other departments with questions, concerns or requests regarding payroll and payroll taxes * Participate special circumstances periodic and annual projects * Associate's degree preferred * 2 years of payroll processing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience * Experience with BLS and Occupation and Wage Reporting * Experience completing registrations for State, SUI, and Local tax jurisdictions * Experience registering State, SUI, and Local tax jurisdictions online * Experience with multiple FEIN's, Multiple States, and Multiple localities * Knowledge of state reciprocity, W2's, and withholding taxes * Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy * Proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously * Ability to prioritize workload to meet processing deadlines * Ability to multi-task, and demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Thorough understanding of employee tax and garnishment administration * Knowledge of applicable State and Federal payroll Laws * Experience with the Dayforce payroll system preferred Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
