Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a Technology Teacher (Grades 7-8)
We seek culturally responsive individuals who foster a love of learning and inspire students to attain the highest level of success. The successful candidate will expose students to introductory technology skills and the various approaches to solving the design process utilizing both traditional and innovative methods.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing engaging lessons and assessments aligned with NYS standards
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of teachers
Developing authentic experiences for students within and beyond the classroom
Communicating effectively with families
Participating actively in school teams and committees.
Maintaining middle school technology spaces.
Qualifications:
- Valid NYS Certification in Technology Education.

Job Qualifications
Preferred Certification: Technology Education K-12: Other certifications will be considered and any candidates with aptitude and experience in Career and Technical Education (Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Design) are encouraged to apply
