ReSound UX Designer in Ballerup, Denmark

In the UX Designer role, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will be designing the future of our desktop Fitting Software that is used by tens of thousands of hearing care professionals across the globe to treat hearing loss in their patients. This is a product with a high complexity and high impact, where you can make a real and tangible difference to the lives of millions of people.

Specifically, you will create UX design concepts, prototypes, specifications, facilitate UX testing and have a role in maintaining and expanding our design system. You will do this in collaboration with Product Managers, Researchers, UX Strategists and Designers as part of a cross-functional setup.

The Team you will be part of

We are the Experience Innovation team, that currently consists of Experience Researchers, Strategists and Designers. As part of the larger Products & Experiences department, we support the delivery of GN’s hearing related digital products and services.

As a team we seek to bring the user-centric perspective to everything we touch, and collaborate across departments to create impact. We come from a diverse background of nationalities, experiences, skillsets, personalities - and we support each other with the varied competencies that we each have.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Create efficient and enjoyable end-to-end UX flows for hearing care professionals

  • Discover, visualize, prototype, test and iterate on new designs, incorporating customer and stakeholder feedback at each step

  • Mature designs to a development-ready state using our existing design system

  • Support maintaining and expanding the design system as needed

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Researchers, Strategists, Designers, Audiologists, Developers and Product Owners along the way

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have:

  • Ability to create design concepts based on user and business needs

  • Experience designing for products with complex functionality and workflows

  • A structured approach, attention to detail and great visual design skills

  • Ability to match required fidelity level to the project needs and timeline

  • Expertise prototyping for desktop applications

  • Comprehensive visual and verbal communication skills to explain design rationales

  • Ability to keep stakeholders involved in a large and fast-moving organization
