Your role and responsibilities

At IBM Consulting, you will have the opportunity to leverage your advanced SAP Security expertise to help clients navigate complex business challenges and opportunities. As an SAP Security Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and testing secure SAP systems, with a particular focus on GRC Access Controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance in implementing robust SAP security measures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

• Lead and manage teams to deliver end-to-end SAP security solutions across various projects, demonstrating strong team leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Develop and execute detailed implementation plans for SAP security components, particularly within the context of S/4 HANA upgrades, including T3UP.

• Conduct comprehensive Change Management (OCM) activities to facilitate smooth transitions to new security protocols.

• Design and enhance security processes and controls, ensuring they are efficient and effective within the context of SAP systems.

• Deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements, utilizing the latest technology and tools in SAP security.

• Participate in new and existing SAP implementation projects across a variety of sectors, with preference given to experience in the public sector or defense consulting environments.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Extensive demonstrable SAP experience including at least 3 full end-to end project lifecycles.

• Strong knowledge and experience in SAP GRC Access Controls modules including ARM, BRM, EAM and ARA. Ability to do role design and analysis and lead workshops with business and Process Architects

• Strong knowledge in SAP Security, roles build, complex restrictions and other SAP security products and systems. Ability to do role design and analysis and lead workshops with business and Process Architects

• Familiar with SAP IdM and general administration within the IdM toolset.

• Customization experience of SAP Security solutions and understanding of core SAP modules, data structures and data flows

• Strong problem solving skills to drive resolution of defects and issues by understanding client needs and presenting options to resolve the problem.

• An ability to identify, develop and implement solutions to gaps to meet the needs of the business

• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to deliver high profile activities to tight timescales

• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

• Strong stakeholder management skills
