Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef with a background in Mediterranean cuisine to join our culinary team.The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, creating innovative Mediterranean-inspired dishes, and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.

• Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and develop creative and authentic Mediterranean-inspired menus.

• Oversee and participate in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.

• Supervise and train the culinary team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to execute dishes with precision.

• Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to maintain optimal ingredient freshness and availability.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety, sanitation, and standards.

• Contribute to menu planning, cost control, and kitchen budget management.

• Stay updated on current trends in Mediterranean cuisine and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine.

• In-depth knowledge of Mediterranean cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.

• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate kitchen staff.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.

• A passion for creating and serving exceptional Mediterranean dishes, and a commitment to culinary excellence.
