Speech-Language Pathologist– Middle and High School (Grades 5-12)
AnthroMed Education is looking to expand our community of Speech-Language Pathologists. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a middle and high school setting. The middle and high schools are part of the same school complex, serving grades 5 through 12. As an SLP, you will play an essential role in supporting students' communication needs, from middle school (grades 5-7) to high school (grades 8-12).
Position Details:
School Hours: 7:15 AM - 2:45 PM
Workday: 7-hour days
School Year: August 28th, 2024 – June 13th, 2025
Additional Support:
The middle school has an SLP-A, and there is also another SLP and SLP-A at one of the other schools in the district.
The IEP system used is eSped.
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to assess students' speech and language needs.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to address communication goals for students.
Provide both direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students receive the necessary support for academic and social success.
Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and district regulations.
Collect data and monitor student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
Communicate regularly with families to share progress updates and provide strategies for supporting students at home.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
Eligibility for appropriate state licensure.
