Baldwinsville Central School District School Bus Driver 2023-24 (Part-time & Substitute) in Baldwinsville, New York
Operation of a school bus in transporting students to and from school and school district functions. The employee is charged with the safety of the children upon entry to the vehicle and during their transport. The employee may be accompanied by a School Bus Attendant. It is the employee's responsibility to check the vehicle for safety purposes prior to making trips. A supervisor assigns bus routes and periodically evaluates the employee's driving skills and knowledge of State laws appicable to transporting students. Does related work as required.
Free comprehensive training is provide to obtain CDL and qualify for employment.
Job Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a clean, valid driver's license. CDL preferred, but not required.
Applicants must be available to work 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in order to be considered.
