Our client, a leader in the IT industry, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join their team. As a Sr. Project Manager, you will be part of the Portfolio and Project Management Group supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the initiative to drive multiple projects to completion, and a solid IT Project Management background which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Project Manager

Location: Remote, must be comfortable working EST hours

Contract through end of year with likely extension

What's the Job?

• Manage IT projects from start to finish, including implementation and customization of software applications.

• Oversee up to three projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.

• Build and maintain project schedules using MS Project/Project Server, ensuring they are effort-driven and auto-scheduled.

• Resolve challenges related to resource and schedule availability in matrixed organizations.

• Lead project teams, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities and accountability for project outcomes.

What's Needed?

• 5-7+ years of current project management experience delivering IT projects with budgets of at least $150K.

• Proven experience managing multiple projects to completion, ideally with timelines under one year.

• Strong experience in Waterfall methodology; Agile experience is not required.

• Experience with Microsoft Project 2016; familiarity with MS Project Server is a plus.

• PMP certification is preferred, but candidates without it may be considered at a lower rate.
