JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for stocking and maintaining stock levels on shelves, completing inventory counts as necessary, picking up and making part runs, receive shipments and receipts daily. Interacting and providing service to a variety of ranch employees at the Parts Counter, and communicate with outside vendors in a professional manner as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

  • Receives shipments and receipts daily.
  • Issues out correct parts to maintenance employees.
  • Responsible for stocking and maintaining stock levels on shelves.
  • Responsible for inventory corrections, as necessary.
  • Picks up and runs parts to and from local vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

OTHER SKILLS/DUTIES:

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and illustrated parts lists.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and represent the company in a professional manner among employees of outside vendors and other business partners of the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Must be observant, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Must function well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have desire and ability to learn.
  • Must work in a safe manner following all rules, guidelines, and company policies.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak in English, knowledge of Spanish desirable.
  • Must report to work in a timely manner ready, willing, and able to perform the essential duties.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school education with six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have knowledge of basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Experience working in a parts store or warehouse is desirable.
  • Some mechanical maintenance knowledge or experience is desirable.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

  • Valid current California Drivers' license with driving record subject to company policy requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job:
  • The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
