Job Title: Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

The Diesel Mechanic will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, including flatbeds, dump trucks, box trucks, freightliners, garbage trucks, bucket trucks, and refrigerator trucks. This role involves working on diesel engines such as Cummins, Mack, and Volvo.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics on various diesel engines including Cummins, Mack, and Volvo.

• Repair and maintain heavy-duty trucks like flatbeds, dump trucks, box trucks, and more.

• Work on lubrication systems, cooling systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and suspension transmission systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to diesel engines and related components.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience with diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines.

• Proficiency in working with lubrication systems, cooling systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and suspension transmission systems.

• Experience with a variety of heavy-duty trucks including flatbeds, dump trucks, and more.

Work Environment

This position is based in a shop environment working with the Service team. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with additional hours as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Bakersfield, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $87360.00
