EXACT STAFF COVID Coordinator in Bakersfield, California

The function of this position is to perform a variety of COVID case management and administrative tasks in support of the Sr. Manager of Workers Compensation. An additional objective is to serve as an administrative support person when time permits outside of COVID responsibilities. This position will support company COVID protocols and respond to all incoming COVID related calls and emails with timely support to employees and operations.

Full Time/Temp to Hire

Monday-Friday (When business requires overtime and weekends, it will be mandatory.)

Pay Rate: $18.00/HR

JOB DUTIES:

  • Responsible for answering incoming COVID lines and responding to all voicemails within 2 hours.
  • Ensure all COVID cases are set up in Flowfinity with follow up protocols in place.
  • Communicate COVID protocols and expectations to employees clearly and walk employees through the processes while following protocols.
  • Continuously update Flowfinity with ongoing documentation regarding cases, conversations, emails, and all other related items to each case.
  • Maintain close follow up diaries to enable timely responses and follow up on all cases and return to work.
  • While following COVID protocols, refer cases to Benefits/Leaves as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate communication with various department leadership regarding work status of their employees and answer inquiries in a timely fashion while following confidentiality protocols.
  • Refer cases to HR for disciplinary action, if needed.
  • Work individually, and as a team to meet and/or exceed individual and department goals, objectives and KPIs.
  • Responsible for entering COVID leave/hours into Kronos while adhering to protocols surrounding leaves available and communicating this to the employees.
  • Ensure spreadsheet tracking salaried employees is turned into payroll weekly.
  • Provide backup to Supervisor for preparing COVID reports and statistics as needed.
  • Additional projects and duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be proficient in MS Office, E-Mail and Internet functions
  • Must communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, establish and maintain effective relationships with employees
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to remain poised in stressful situations and communicate diplomatically via telephone, computer, fax, correspondence, etc.
