WorkSource Oregon Tow Truck Driver in BAKER CITY, Oregon
REQUIREMENTS: * Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record. PREFERENCES: * Valid Oregon CDL with a good driving record and DOT medical card. * Possess or obtain endorsements: doubles, triples, tank, and hazmat. * Flagger certification. JOB DUTIES: * Maneuver up to 50 pounds * Perform facility and vehicle care and maintenance while being trained as a heavy-duty tow operator. * Safely operate 60-ton tow truck along with flatbed and wheel lift towing equipment. * Perform jump-starts, lockouts, tire changes and clearing of motor vehicle accidents. * Complete trips as assigned by Scheduler/Dispatcher. * Use GPS and maps to determine best routes. * Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of equipment. * Report any incidents and/or accidents to the office. * Maintain vehicle interior and exterior cleanliness. HOURS: * 40 hours a week, plus on-call PAY: * Depending on experience and qualifications; competitive wage and benefits discussed at interview.
