The Associate Commercial Architect will support all commercial related activities including, but not limited to, contract creation, pricing, contract management, deal structuring and providing support to field sales for quoting purposes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Architecture

  • Take the commercial lead on client opportunities with a limited complexity or support (Senior) Commercial Architects in more complex projects

  • Work with sales and service teams as well as the legal department to structure contracts

  • Identify deviations from to the commercial company standards and propose solutions

  • Prepare commercial deliverables:

  • Commercial Model

  • P&L

  • Cash flow forecast

  • Client Pricing templates

  • Risk Register

  • Asset Financing (where required)

  • Undertake an agency treatment assessment for each opportunity to identify which elements of the deal, if any, can be treated as agency

  • Ownership of the overall risk of the opportunity

  • Commercial Assurance and Governance

  • Cooperate with the regional bid and pre-sales teams to construct and present the commercial aspects of proposals on country management level

  • Ensures deals align to company policies, confirms contract terms and conditions and verifies compliance with internal policies (and external regulations).

  • Use the standardised templates as agreed in the regional Commercial Centre of Excellence

  • Commercial other

  • Actively support the improvement of the commercial tools and processes
