Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. In this role, you will be key in ensuring accurate and efficient billing and cash management operations within our industry. You will also be tasked with the responsibility of maintaining customer files and records while also conducting regular account reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out billing and cash management operations, adhering to specified deadlines and client contract requirements

• Maintain a well-organized and updated billing system

• Reconcile and rectify customer account details, addressing non-payments, discrepancies, delayed payments, and other irregularities

• Establish and sustain good, consistent communication with clients, addressing their queries and requests effectively

• Develop and implement a recovery system, initiating collection efforts, and processing adjustments as necessary

• Assist in accounting month-end closing and year-end closings

• Regularly analyze client data and activities, preparing monthly metrics to update management

• Maintain and update accounts receivable customer files and records

• Follow established procedures for processing customer receipts and preparing bank deposits

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing and Cash Applications

• Proven track record in Cash Collections and Commercial Collections

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in VLOOKUP and Pivot Table

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in Adjusting Journal Entries and Journal Entry Preparation

• Experience in handling Daily Cash Receipts

• Knowledge in issuing Credit Memos
