Job position: GIS AnalystPay rate: $38 per hourLocation: New JerseySchedule: Monday to Friday (9 to 5)Job Title: GIS AnalystRole Overview: The GIS Analyst will assist the Key Consultant by handling day-to-day GIS-related tasks, ensuring data accuracy, performing technical analyses, and managing updates to both tax maps and GIS base maps. This role will support the consultant in implementing updates, conducting quality checks, and maintaining compliance with standards and regulations.Responsibilities:GIS Data Management:Task: Update and maintain GIS base maps in alignment with the Key Consultants guidance.Task: Apply changes to GIS data and ensure consistency with the updated tax maps.Technical Support:Task: Assist in the application of 2024 changes to the GIS base maps.Task: Perform data entry and integration tasks to ensure accurate representation of municipal conditions.Quality Assurance:Task: Conduct initial quality checks on GIS updates and tax map revisions before final review.Task: Verify the accuracy and completeness of GIS data and metadata.Metadata and Database Updates:Task: Manage and update GIS metadata according to FGDC guidelines.Task: Assist in updating and maintaining the tabular portion of the GIS database.Reporting and Documentation:Task: Prepare preliminary reports and documentation for review by the Key Consultant.Task:<span style="b
