EY has a robust life sciences commercial practice, helping clients with strategic growth, business transformation, and commercial excellence. This senior role within our Consulting practice will have the opportunity to lead large engagements, build solutions, lead teams, and innovate in the market. Our practice works with large pharma, biotechnology, medical device manufacturers, and medical technology industries. You will be an integral member of our life sciences consulting team and spend most of your time focused on providing client services in the following areas: business transformation, commercial operations, commercial data and analytics, commercial strategy, market access, growth strategy, operating model optimization, technology implementation and enterprise transformation.
Your key responsibilities
A majority of your time will be spent leading client engagements, supporting business development, and developing differentiated intellectual property in the medical technology domain.

Effectively manage and motivate client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds
Leading large-scale client engagements and consistently delivering quality client services
Monitoring progress, managing risk and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
Managing expectations of client service delivery and staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business
Fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment by playing an active role in counselling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization
Identifying and cultivating new project opportunities with existing clients
Leading project proposal and/or RFP responses
Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships and networks
Developing relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs
Remaining current on new developments in the life sciences advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge
Participating in thought leadership development to help elevate EY brand within the life sciences industry
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Biology, Pharmacology, Engineering
10+ years MedTech industry experience and experience providing advisory services
Deep expertise in one discipline or extensive experience in multiple commercial disciplines including business unit strategy, brand strategy, marketing, market access, pricing, medical affairs, sales, customer services, commercial operations, and commercial analytics
Experience in designing and executing large-scale transformation engagements
Strong analytics skills and ability to structure and solve complex business problems
In-depth knowledge of the MedTech industry and business operations
Excellent oral and written communication and storytelling skills
The executive presence to interact with the C-Suite and executive level stakeholders
Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity, change, and uncertainty
A great team player - honest, fair, and kind to team members and clients
Commitment to doing things the right way, not the easier way
Significant advisory/consulting experience within MedTech is required
