Disseminate information and directive from FOM leadership to team in order to achieve maximum success in meeting client and UT mission and vision. In collaboration with Assistant Director for Engineering and Technical Support, develop commonalities and best practices, and identify the right work at the right time to deliver the highest value.Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.Lead both the electrical safety programs and maintenance and upgrades to campus building automation systems.Lead team of engineers and other professionals providing facilities engineering and project management services for higher education, research and healthcare projects for all UT Austin campuses.Mentor, guide, manage engineering and technical staff individually, and as a collective team.Perform other job related functions as assigned. Serve on committees, task forces, etc., to improve the departmental mission.Prioritize and allocate resources to ensure delivery of key initiatives, and maintain agility to maximize resource utilization against ongoing changing needs of clients. Interpret information and ascertain a plan of action, utilizing existing resources and staff.
