Position Overview: The Division of District Talent Systems works to support districts with the development of systems for identifying and rewarding great teachers, including work related to the Teacher Incentive Allotment, T-TESS, and other strategic compensation efforts. The Teacher Incentive Allotment Project Manager will play a critical role in providing a pathway for outstanding Texas teachers to earn six-figure salaries and support the implementation of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA). The Project Manager will lead efforts to support team functions to meet division goals and milestones. They will also serve to support strategic planning related to funding and other priorities to meet division and team goals. The Project Manager will serve as a thought partner to internal senior leadership. This position reports to the Director of District Talent Systems. Flexible work location within the state of Texas may be considered for qualified candidates. You may perform other functions as assigned. 1. Project Management: Lead division's project and performance planning cycle towards improved outcomes for Texas districts and teachers.2. Fiscal Management: Serve as the fiscal manager for the division's funding, grants, and expenditures, including the strategic use of funds to meet division and department goals.3. Team Strategic Supports: Provide strategic support to the division of District Talent Systems, including agenda-setting, policy support, and team building strategy.4. TTU Contract Manager: Manage the partnership with Texas Tech University related to local designation system data submission, data validation, stakeholder surveys, and other tasks related to contract management. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in education and managing large, complex projects and developing and/or implementing project management systems. Substitutions: An advanced degree may substitute for two years of required experience.
