CACI's Command, Control, Computing, and Intelligence (C3I) line of business delivers industry leading Signals Intelligence exploitation and Electronic Warfare products that enable our nation’s tactical warfighters to effectively utilize distributed grids of networked sensors, assets, and platforms to perform a variety of critical national security driven missions. Our team is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join the Navy Air (NAVAIR) Solutions Group to provide support and assistance to our customer as the primary point of contact for supporting a variety of NAVAIR systems. This role is based out of Austin, TX with 25% travel within the US.

The Opportunity:

You will use your detailed knowledge and experience of Linux systems, and Windows systems to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain relevant components in the Navy Grounds and Air platforms we support. You will work both independently and as a team member on projects dealing with a variety of computer system, and cybersecurity challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to install, configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of computer and networking components and systems across various classified networks on grounds systems supporting airborne platforms.

  • Generate documentation and deliverables that support the lifecycle of the supported products and systems.

  • Collaborate with Cyber Security professionals to perform the security control assessments, determine residual security risks, prepare assessment test reports, prepare, and assess test plans, and provide formal recommendations in support of authorization events.

  • Work closely with developers, quality assurance, security, and support teams to develop new systems, products, and capabilities.

  • Be involved in internal testing and configuration of supported systems during development of new releases, as well as to help troubleshoot/diagnose reported problems.

  • Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently.

  • Travel to CONUS customer sites to support installations, test events, and training.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of related experience

  • An active TS/SCI clearance and familiarity with protocols for handling classified information and adhering to strict security guidelines.

  • Current certification compliant with DoD 8570 IAT level I (COMPTIA Security +) (or the ability to get one in first 90 days)

  • Operating Systems: Significant experience with Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems and system security

  • Virtualization and Containers: Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) technologies for managing complex and scalable environments.

  • Systems Integration and Verification Testing (IV&V): Experience with testing processes for high-assurance systems.

Desired:

  • Current certification compliant with DoD 8570 IAT level I (COMPTIA Security +)

  • Strong troubleshooting experience

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$69,100 - 141,500 USD
