HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION Systems Analyst V in Austin, Texas
Job/Position DescriptionWe are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team! In this role, you will provide support for a wide range of applications, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues that arise, and ensure the smooth and efficient operations of our systems. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent customer service skills, a strong working knowledge IT system, and the ability to work autonomously. Work involves maintaining the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of systems. Provides hardware and software support to agency users. Supports and provides user level service to agency users. This position is within Access and Eligibility Services (AES), Data Management and Reporting (DMR) Division. AES is driven by its mission to connect Texans to services by helping individuals and families in need of food, medical care, cash assistance and other social services.This position offers work-from-home balance. Currently, a minimum of one day in the office is required. This is subject to change. The state of Texas requires all employees to maintain personal wi-fi and webcam capabilities during works hours to perform job duties. Applicants from outside Texas must be willing to relocate within 30 days of hire. This position is for U.S. Citizens or residents only. Requires occasional after hours and weekend work.Essential Job FunctionsTroubleshooting and Support: oOversees, analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues; and provides status reports to management.oProvide advanced troubleshooting and support for endpoint-related issues, collaborating with internal and external IT teams to resolve complex problems.
