Job Description

Are you a customer-centric Product Leader with a proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? We’re hiring a Senior Director, Product Management to lead the product teams that are collectively developing the Ascension One mobile app. Developed across multiple product teams, Ascension One plays a key role in driving Ascension’s growth and removing access barriers for consumers in the markets we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Serve in the Product leadership role with oversight of multiple product teams.

  • Mentor and develop a team of Product Managers.

  • Manage budgets to ensure responsible stewardship of Ascension resources.

  • Partner with peers in Engineering and Design to deliver solutions at scale that serve Ascension customers.

  • Set KPI targets for the product and own the associated outcomes.

  • Competence with design, prototyping, and product visualization tools.

  • Defines clear objectives and identifies traceable key results for the product team.

  • Supports product execution across multiple product teams/tiles as required.

  • Exhibits natural and intuitive user empathy.

  • Uses measurement and analytics effectively pre/post launch.

  • Performs usability testing successfully without bias.

  • Describes user types, personas, and lead journey mapping exercises with the team.

  • Empathizes with different user personas to reach successful product conclusions.

  • Utilizes, manages, defines, and reviews A/B testing.

  • Supports product testing activities and debugging.

  • Generates high value from user interactions and feedback and utilizes the same to inform product strategy and direction.

  • Synthesizes research and testing efforts to rapidly provide insights to the team.

  • Advises test selection and results evaluation across multiple product teams/tiles.

  • Leads, mentors, and manages product teams.

  • Collaborates on and communicates product/design/engineering resourcing needs and strategy.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Additional Preferences

Preferred Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience developing digital products, and native mobile apps specifically.

  • 5+ years of experience managing teams.

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare technology.
