The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Software Test Engineering intern for Summer 2025 at our Austin, TX location! Through our intern program’s on the job training and mentorship, you will gain experience with cutting edge technology alongside engineers and computer scientists.

As a member of the test engineering team, you will be a part of ensuring that our deliverables meet our standards for high quality and reliability. You will participate in various test activities as well as get the opportunity to contribute and improve our automation infrastructure.

The internship will begin in May and last 10-12 weeks, this position will be hybrid with the expectation you will be in-person Monday to Thursday and work remotely on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

This position is for individuals interested in a broad area of Software Development, Testing, and Integration. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience working in a teamwork environment. It is key that candidates have the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with others in order to produce high quality products in an effective and efficient manner. The single most important attribute is an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to compliment your academic experience.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/Signal Processing, Physics, Math, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Current status as a Sophomore or Senior

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Familiarity with hardware or software tools should be at a level appropriate for your academic level

Desired:

  • Linux/Unix operating systems

  • Shell or scripting (Python, Perl, Ruby, bash, ksh, etc.)

  • Signal processing

  • Virtual machine technologies

  • System administration and network configuration

  • Continuous Integration

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$39,900 - 79,900 USD
