Design and implement software tools for automated image alignment, reconstructions and biophysical modeling at the molecular, synaptic, dendritic, and circuit levels, from nanoscale images.Use deep-learning with emergent technologies that are setting new standards to create polygon generating surfaces (e.g. Neuroglancer, Flood-Filled Network, CDeep3M).Develop software that expand throughput and quantitative analysis by experimental and computational neuroscientists.Integrate developed software into 3DEM.org, an NSF NeuroNex Technology Hub tasked with sharing computational tools and data at the Texas Advanced Computing Center.Maintain up-to-date Github source code sites for all software development.Prepare relevant components of manuscripts for scientific journals on new findings and technical developments.Train users on the implementation of new programs, and mentor students in coding and analytical computation.
