A senior level System Engineer passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications. This position is responsible for managing assigned software products and associated hardware and operating systems relevant to the Enterprise Managed File Transfer function. The current architecture includes the EFT Globalscape application solution.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ Years of experience in to end to end Global Scape; ConnectDirect and SSP plus EFT System Administration

• 5+ years of experiencing with Scripting EFT, Power Shell. Experience automating, scripting, and streamlining processes for efficiency and accuracy

• 5+ years of experience with Windows Server Administration, Upgrades and Installations, IIS management along with App Pool configurations, SSL Certificate installation and application deployments.

• 5+ years of building and maintaining the operational readiness of the application infrastructure in a mission critical computing environment.

• 5+ years of monitoring performance of application and taking action on changes. Respond to application outages and perform routine maintenance on assigned applications.

• 5+ years of experience providing level 2 Support for projects and implemented applications

• 5+ years of experience identifying, isolating, and troubleshooting issues and drive development of solutions depending on the root cause analysis

• 3+ years of experience with basic network and Storage related configurations and troubleshooting

• Understanding ITSM life cycle and ITIL( Incident, Problem, Change)Experience in to implanting Tech/Process Based Optimizations, Best Practices and Process Standardization

• Exposure to SOP, Tech Documents Derivation, Create/Maintained Knowledge Repositories.

• Flexibility in working hours in line with project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Maintain version, patch and security levels, in accordance with the strategic direction of the company

• Conducting performance tuning, baselining. Forecasting system performance & managing configurations

• Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

• Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction

• Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.

• Any relevant certifications to the role
